Blue Water

 

Blue Water Nightline

(4mm)
This is the original reflective cord. It is 4mm in diameter. Extremely useful in low light applications. Excellent for search line applications.

Blue Water Hybrid Search Line

(6mm)
50% Technora 50% polyester sheath. This provides for a higher visibility search line in low light conditions. Also features a nylon core to keep the rope for flattening out and becoming hung under door jambs, furniture, etc.

Blue Water 9mm Search Line


This innovative new search line is also certified to the NFPA requirements for a PER. Many firemen feel the small diameter search lines are too difficult to grasp with gloves. Made with the same heat and cut resistant fibers as our escape line II but designed primarily as a search line. This line can be used as both a search line and a Personal Escape Rope. PMI Hot Search Line


PMI's next generation 100% Kevlar RIT line is what you've been waiting for. The Gold base with Red accent certainly keep "eyes on." No soft braid prone to snagging in this line. You're certain to love the tight braid but highly compactible design - especially when it outlasts the other soft/snag design RIT lines. This hollow braid rope forms to a 10mm wide by 3mm thick rectangular shape, withstands a stout 2700lbf, and weighs only 22.4g/m. Not intended for rappelling.

Rapid Search Line II


Designed by firefighters for firefighters. Made from high tenacity nylon with a single aramid cable running through the nylon core, this supple 9mm search line packs away small but is highly grippable even with a gloved hand. The bright Orange and Yellow sheath is designed for maximum visibility in the fire ground environment. Not intended for rappelling.

Rescue Tech Probe

RescueTech Probe Search Line


6mm sheath made from Fire Resistant Aramid fiber for extreme durability and resistance to heat (900 degrees F). Firm, yet flexible, design is superior to "Hollow or Flat" braid construction. Maintains cross-section so cord can be easily felt on the floor. Strength: 2,400 lbf.

RescueTech Probe-R Search Line - Reflective.


Constructed using the same materials as the standard PROBE Search Line with the addition of a 3M Scotchlite retroflective stripe. Strength: 2,400 lbf.

RescueTech Probe-Hybrid Search Line.


A new idea for Search rope construction. The Hybrid rope uses both Fire Resistant Aramid Fibers and Polyester to create a highly visible and economical search rope. All of the cord's strength is derived from the Aramid Fiber. The bright Orange polyester fibers act as a heat indicator. At 350 degrees F, the polyester fibers melt leaving the load bearing aramid in place for safety backup. Strength: 2000lbf.

Sterling



Rapid Intervention Teams face the most demanding and extreme conditions during search operations. Overcoming extreme heat, foreground obstacles, and poor visibility are common when searching for and rescuing trapped firefighters or civilians. Sterling's heat resistant RIT 900 and RIT 500 were developed specifically for these types of situations. Firefighter safety and survival has become an important focus over the last few years and RIT Lines have emerged to be an integral rescue tool in search operations. Sterling Rope RIT Lines utilize aramid fibers which are critical when working in situations where exposure to high heat may occur.
