Blue Water

Safeline features a 16 carrier polyester sheath over twisted nylon core strands. This unique balance of sheath and core produces a rope with exceptional handling characteristics and resistance top abrasion. Designed to elongate, in the event of accidental shock (impact) loading, to absorb energy and reduce risk to the rescuer. The polyester sheath offers a higher melting point as well as better UV and chemical resitance than nylon, 5/8 and 1/2 are certified to NFPA 1983/2001 edition, General Use standards. 7/16 inch is certified to NFPA 1983/2001 edition, light use standards. Excellent choice for fire/rescue, high angle rope and technical rescue use.

PMI Classic Professional

PMI Classic Static Rope is the choice of professionals the world over. Classified according to Cordage Institute (CI)1801 as Nylon static rope, it is third party certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) in conformance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and European Standards (CE) for Life Safety Rope. PMI’s 16 carrier construction beats 32 and 48 carrier designs hands down in abrasion tests. Choose from Max Wear or EZ Bend. White/Orange Available in EZ-Bend & Max Wear. Made in USA.

EZ BEND

EZ Bend combines advanced abrasion resistance technology with excellent knotabliity and easier handling characteristics than Max Wear. Tough rope for tough applications. You can identify EZ Bend in the feild by the two stripes over the base color.

MAX WEAR

Max Wear was designed for rugged use in the harshest environments. Extreme cavers and those who work in rugged terrain appreciate the superior abrasion resitance of Max Wear. Harder to knot than EZ Bend. You can identify Max Wear in the field by the fact that it stands up straighter than other ropes, or by the sheath pattern. It has only one stripe over the base color.

HTP Static

Sterling's 100% polyester HTP Static Rope has become an important and integral addition to most rescue and industrial organizations' equipment needs. HTP offers many significant advantages over standard nylon static ropes in certain applications. Polyester is a naturally high strength, durable and dry fiber.
Sterling's HTP offers the highest tensile strength for ropes in its size. It also resists moisture and provides greater durability than previously attainable. HTP offers greater resistance from UV and certain chemicals, has low electrical conductivity, and remains supple after repeated use. Continued field research and actual rescue applications have shown that polyester ropes may be the best ropes for many mainline raises and lowers and most trackline applications. The supple handling, high strength and low stretch (less than 1% stretch per 300-pound load) characteristics of HTP means less work and no re-tensioning of the highline or trackline is required. Lowering and extrication systems are far more efficient with HTP because the low stretch and high strength characteristics make extra ropes unnecessary. And, since HTP Static is a naturally dry product, your ropes will always stay dry, maintaining performance and weight. The 7/16" and 1/2" feature 48-carrier construction.
